Starting the review list with 2019 Petrol guzzlers
Audi Q8; SuV, Coupe style - One word - Boring! Same o, same o.
BMW X5; SuV, Coupe style - Over priced! Nice car for middle management, wanna b’s, and poachers. It will impress and let everyone know you have arrived. (familier 2 bubble grille is back)
Cadillac CT6; Lagging behind. GM is planning to catch up in 2020 by crossing over into SUV market. The Super cruise 2018 onboard technology is like a goolge extension abb. Although the electronics doesn't really compare to VOLVo ‘s Pilot Assist.
Mercedes AMG GT; Sedan 4 Door, Flashy and High performance, Must have car if you are a overpaid government official in South Africa with a company petrol card.
More economical everyday cars to drive in 2019
Lexus ES - Hybrid drive system; Lower, wider and longer!
Hyundai Veloster; Boring!
Kia Forte; Fuel efficient
Nissan Altima; Boring
Toyota Avalon XLE; Redesigned with an ugly big grill.
VW Arteon; Sedan in a bad yellow design.
The above reviews is purely from using my own criteria to evaluate each unit.
Pine’s Car Evaluation Criteria
Any vehicle over R10 000 is over-priced!
Only replace a car if you can afford to buy the new one Cash! Do not buy a new car on payments - only to impresses a stranger at the traffic light - who you don’t even know, by driving a car you cannot afford
All 2019 cars are Bad but they are all in fact NICE!. Just out of my league (The only new vehicle I will be using in 2019 is a new public Bus. Bought by a offical spending public money!
